RUTHERFORD NANNIES, LLC is pleased to offer our clients a variety of helpful services.
Permanent Child Care (Live In or Out)
Our full time Nannies work 30-50 hours a week and are placed with families needing a 1 year commitment from their nanny. In addition to caring for your children; full time Nannies might have other responsibilities such as tending to the children's laundry, cooking for the children, light housekeeping and transporting them safely to lessons or play dates.
Full-time Nannies request between $10-$15 per hour.
Live-In Nannies provide the same services and request an hourly rate of $7-$9 per hour.
Permanent placements generally take 4-6 weeks allowing us adequate time to arrange interviews between you and the nannies who would like to interview for the position. We do not charge a higher placement fee for live-in nannies.
Temporary Child Care
Our part time Nannies work under 30 hours a week and are available a minimum of 4 hours per shift. These can be for a single occasion or several days or weeks in a row if necessary.
Our temp nannies are also available for churches or business functions and events where child care is needed. Part time nannies request between $10-$15 per hour and expect to be paid at the end of their shift each day.
3rd shift Newborn care is also offered for late night care, feedings and diaper changes allowing parents their much needed rest. Newborn care nannies are available for a flat rate of $500 for one week and shifts are usually between 7pm-7am.
Hotel Care
We also provide nannies to care for children temporarily in their hotel rooms. This service is offered to clients who have either business or personal events to attend that do not accommodate children or just for parents to have a night out to themselves. The hourly rate to the nanny for hotel care is $12 per hour. The referral rate to the agency is $10 per day. Email or call to request a nanny at your hotel. Advance scheduling before your trip is encouraged.
Nanny Selection Process
At RUTHERFORD NANNIES, LLC we are very selective in choosing the caregivers for our nanny registry. Our #1 priority is providing our clients with the best child care so that you can feel confident and comfortable leaving your children for any length of time. Nanny applications are thoroughly reviewed and we personally contact all personal and professional references. Additionally, all nannies must be non-smokers. To be added to our registry they must be deemed a great fit to our agency, both professionally and morally.
We perform an extensive background check including criminal records and sex offender registry on all one year, contract placement applicants. Records must be clean for nannies to apply for contract positions.
Agency Fees
There is a one time $30 client registration fee to become active with our agency. To register, simply download and fax in the Family Profile located at the bottom of the Family Services page. For temporary caregivers the daily referral fee is $8 per day and must be pre-paid per day or per week.
The permanent placement fee for a 1 year contract/commitment is $675. This is required upfront for clients to hire any of our registered nannies on a long term basis. Once paid, there are no additional agency fees.

CANCELLATION POLICY
This agency requires a minimum of 48 hours notice before the scheduled start time in order to receive the referral fee refund. If cancelled on the same day as the caregiver was requested then we will charge 1/2 the referral fee and 1/2 of the 4 hour minimum pay to be given to the caregiver.
EMPLOYMENT TAXES
All caregivers provided under this contract are employees of the client and not RUTHERFORD NANNIES, LLC. All applicable federal and state tax requirements pertaining to household employees are the responsibility of the client.
INDEMNIFICATION AND HOLD HARMLESS
Client assumes all risk of damage or injury to persons or property that may occur to or by the Caregiver. Client shall hold harmless and indemnify RUTHERFORD NANNIES, LLC from any claims, damages and/or liability of any kind to persons or property, directly or indirectly related to the actions or inaction's of the Caregiver.
